Common Mistakes to Avoid
Entering the points missed instead of the points earned
Fix: The numerator is the score you earned, not the points you lost. If you missed 8 out of 50, enter 42 as the score, not 8.
Forgetting to multiply by 100
Fix: Dividing the score by the total gives a decimal like 0.84. Multiply by 100 to express it as 84%.
Assuming a percentage above 100 is an error
Fix: A score above 100% is valid when extra credit is awarded. It simply means you earned more than the total possible points.
